Two Cores developed an automation system for Actionable Books that pulls existing blog content from Airtable, selects appropriate quotes, images, and summaries, and posts them directly to LinkedIn and Twitter. By integrating LinkedIn and Twitter APIs, the automation handles scheduling and posting of new content, ensuring a consistent social media presence with minimal manual input.
This system filters content based on specific fields like quotes and insights, and pairs them with relevant images and referral links. For LinkedIn, the automation generates detailed posts, including a book quote, author attribution, and a link to the full summary. Similarly, for Twitter, it creates concise tweets that include a key insight and a referral link to the summary page.
Impact
The automation system significantly reduced the manual effort involved in redistributing content. Actionable Books now maintains a regular presence on LinkedIn and Twitter, ensuring their blog content reaches a wider audience while freeing up their team to focus on other high-priority tasks.
